A salad that can be a meal or as a side. I will warn you expect heavy gas. If you wish to eliminate most of that add summer savory as it is a natural antigas remedy.

A salad that can be a meal or as a side. I will warn you expect heavy gas. If you wish to eliminate most of that add summer savory as it is a natural antigas remedy.
Steps

Wash the Brussels sprouts. Grate or shave the Brussels sprouts in a bowl add drain and add the corn and chickpeas. Add in the pea pods.

Slice the olives or buy sliced. Triple rinse the black beans. Add to bowl.

Season with half the spices. Measure and add the salad dressing.

Add mayonnaise and stir.

Slice the onions and season with the rest of the spices.

Add cornstarch and toss to coat. Put into a Ziploc bag. Add flour and toss to coat. This will keep your hands clean for now.

Heat the oil and fry immediately. If you don't fry the onions will sweat or juice up causing the onions to hydrate the coating. It will stick together like a pasty glue. Fry them. These will garnish the top of salad. Serve room temperature or chilled. I hope you enjoy!!!
