Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgpetha(pumpkin)
  2. 1kairi (kacha aam)raw mango
  3. 1/2 tspsaunf/ fennel seeds
  4. 1/2 tspjeera /cumin seeds
  5. 1/4 tspmethi dana /fenugreek seeds)
  6. Pinchheeng/asafoetida
  7. 1/2 tspkasuri methi
  8. 1/2 tspsugar
  9. 1 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  11. 1 tspcoriander powder
  12. To taste salt
  13. As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut petha in cubes and wash it.

  2. 2

    Take a pan,heat the oil and add jeera and crackle.then add tomatoes and Cook for one minute.

  3. 3

    After one minute add all spices and mix well.add chopped petha And stir.add 1/2 cup water and covered with lid.after 10 minutes open the lid and stir.

  4. 4

    Add sugar and covered with lid For 5 minutes.after 5 minutes off the flame.petha is ready to serve.
