As winters are approaching, one flavourful ingredient which I look forward to is green garlic chives. It is a seasonal produce. Toor dal is one of the basic dal prepared in almost all the homes as a part of thali. It generally gets less time to get cooked and is part of almost all the regions in Indian.
I just boiled the dal with green garlic chives and then added some tadka over it. Quick and easy recipe for daily homemade food.
Everyday cooking has to be simple, non-spicy and should involve less time in the kitchen. If you share my views, please take a look at the recipe below and try cooking this delicious and flavourful dal before the green garlic chives go off the shelves!!
