Cooking Instructions

Scrub the burdock to get rid of the dirt and then cut into 4-5 cm pieces. Cut those pieces into strips (the size of a matchstick) and soak in water.

Peel the carrot and cut in the same manner as the burdock. Thinly slice the chili pepper.

Put oil into a heated frying pan and cook the chili pepper. Add the drained burdock and the carrot, and sauté.

Once the vegetables have become tender, add the ★ ingredients. Turn down the heat to low and simmer until the liquid evaporates. Lastly, add the white sesame seeds.
