Fresh French onion soup

I accidently defrosted a pack of onions so needed to cook something.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 600 grsliced onions you can use frozen ones
  2. 50 grfarm butter
  3. 1 lstock fresh or from cubes
  4. 2 tbflour
  5. 2bay leaves
  6. 1 tbtym
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. 1/2baguette
  9. 100 gr(gruyère) cheese

Cooking Instructions

    Carmelize the onions in the butter. About 10 min

    Put in the flour. Cook for about 3 min

  3. 3

    Cover with the stock

  4. 4

    Put in tym and bayleaf

  5. 5

    Cook for 30 min

  6. 6

    Cut 4 pieces from the bread

  7. 7

    Put under the grill

  8. 8

    Turn and divide the cheese. Put back under the grill until melted

  9. 9

    Put the soup into 4 bowls and put on the bread. Serve immediatly
