Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make the hamburger mixture.
- 2
Saute the garlic, onion, and mushrooms in olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3
Pan fry one side of the hamburgers. It's fine if the burgers don't cook all the way through, just so long as both sides are nicely browned.
- 4
Add the canned tomatoes and the consomme to Step 2.
- 5
Add the hamburgers to the tomato sauce.
- 6
Steam for about 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
- 7
Done. You can eat them just like this, but there's a few more steps involved.
- 8
Put each hamburger along with the sauce into a ovenproof dish.
- 9
Top with cherry tomatoes and okra. Sprinkle with cheese.
- 10
Then, top with panko and butter. Bake in the oven until browned.
- 11
Done!
- 12
Sprinkle with parsley.
- 13
I used this recipe to make the hamburger steaks, but you can use any recipe that you like.

Tomato Sauce Tomato Sauce
I learned this while I was abroad. This is an easy version that's light on the oil. It's a simple and delicious all-purpose sauce with no frills!Be sure not to burn the garlic when cooking it. You can make various versions by adding meat, vegetables, white sauce, sour cream, curry powder, etc. If you want to have a thicker sauce, you can add some katakuriko potato starch to adjust the thickness. Simple Tomato Sauce Simple Tomato Sauce
I thought of a simple tomato sauce that would work well with all kinds of cooking.*If you don't have a blender, you can use canned chopped tomatoes. *If you're using fresh tomatoes, chop them up and then heat them in the microwave (I cooked 3 tomatoes for 5 minutes). Please simmer them after blending. If you want to preserve the fresh taste of the tomatoes, then you don't have to add them to the blender. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Fresh tomato Sauce Fresh tomato Sauce
This is as basic and sublime as Italian cooking gets. My daughter requests this all the time. In the winter, she would ask for this and I would say, we need to wait for summer tomatoes. Yet, I have made it with store fresh roma tomatoes in winter and it is a nice reminder of summer. 2 Cancerians cook, Libra eats -

Basic Tomato Sauce Basic Tomato Sauce
All-purpose, basic tomato sauce is not just limited to italian dishes - it's adaptable in many ways, so please try this out.If sterilizing jars is too much work, you can freeze the sauce in ziplock bags. The reason why I used different size jars is that I use different amounts when use the tomato sauce for making pizza sauce vs. making pasta sauce. I haven't added any spices or herbs, and just a minimal amount of salt, so that the sauce can stay flexible enough to be used in various recipes. Recipe by Ulisse cookpad.japan -
Tomato Sauce Tomato Sauce
This healthy, flavorful tomato sauce is a staple in many dishes and is really simple to make. Lots of herbs and seasonings make it so delicious that my family prefers this over anything store bought. You can use whatever onion you have on hand. Sometimes I like using a sweet onion, other times I mix in some red, so go with whatever’s available and what you like.As always, use recipes as a guideline and feel free adjust the spices to suit your preferences. For example, add more red pepper flakes to add some heat, or more sugar to make it sweeter. Kat -

Meat Sauce and Hamburgers (Cooked Simultaneously!) Meat Sauce and Hamburgers (Cooked Simultaneously!)
It was a holiday and everyone in the family was at home, but I only had time to cook in the morning! Then I thought that if I made two dishes with the same ingredients and the same prep work and made them at the same time, I could make lunch and dinner both at once. They are both meat dishes, but if you feel like it you can use quite a lot more vegetables, and no one will complain! You can sauté the chopped onions and carrots if you want, but I didn't have time to let them cool down, so I use the onions uncooked and boiled the carrots.Adjust the ratio of ground meat and vegetables to your taste. You can use more meat, or more vegetables, but either way it will taste more or less the same in the end.
