A few days ago I posted a recipe to a Cranberry, Sunflower Beer Bread. This recipe is the same except no cranberries or sunflower seed. They were replaced with sliced black olives and caramelized onion

Ingredients

1 hour
2 - 4 people
  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 3 teaspoonsbaking powder
  3. 2 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  5. 1/4 cupolive oil
  6. 3 ozsliced black olives
  7. 1/2white onion chopped
  8. 12-16 ozbeer

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

Chop up 1/2 of a white onion and caramelize it in a pan with olive oil. Then set aside to cool. If you really like onion you can use a whole onion.

  2. 2

Mix all the ingredients together in one bowl. Including the black olives and caramelized white onion Normally one 12 oz can of beer is enough, but a couple of time I needed to increase it a bit so I always use a 16 oz can of beer, just in case the dough is a little too thick.

  3. 3

Spray a bread pan with Pam. Make sure the whole pan and edge is covered so you don't get any sticking.

  4. 4

Pour the black olive, onion beer bread into the bread pan

  5. 5

Bake at 375 for 1 hour. Let bread cool for 30 minutes before slicing. Delicious!
