Rasam is a one of the comfort food which is served in main course in Tamilnadu. This is delicious, easy to digest a soup variety, whichis mixed with steamed rice and a drizzle of little ghee(optional).

Rasam is a one of the comfort food which is served in main course in Tamilnadu. This is delicious, easy to digest a soup variety, whichis mixed with steamed rice and a drizzle of little ghee(optional).
Steps

Roast tomato on stove.

Remove the skin of tomato and mash well. Add to the black chickpea stock
- 3
Add turmeric powder, salt, rasam powder to the chickpea stock with mashed tomato and boil for 10 minutes.

Once the raw smell of rasam powder goes add 1/2 cup of water and boil. Switch off add Corriader leaves.

Tempering should be done with oil / ghee add mustard, once it splutter's add jeera. Pour the tempering to rasam and serve.
Rasam is ready to serve.
