Chicken Shinwari Karahi with cream

This dish originated in Northern Pakistan and Afghanistan and gets its name from the Shinwari tribe of Pashtuns who live there. This karahi is prepared with deliciously tender chicken , beef etc and is given its flavor by a generous helping of tomatoes.

Heat oil in a wok/pan and add chicken I was having chicken legs so I utilize them

Fry on high flame by adding salt until chicken colour changes and it get tender

Then add in tomato 🍅🍅 and green chillies roughly chopped

Cover it for 10 minutes,when the tomatoes get soft remove their skin

Now my favourite step just mash mash and mash the tomatoes,green chillies

When chicken, tomato,green chillies all get nicely done add a splash of water and steam cook it for 5 minutes on low flame

Lastly add cream in topping and serve
