Ingredients

30 mnts
4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1 tspcorn flour
  3. 1 tspYogurt
  4. 1/2 tspvinegar
  5. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  6. Pinchyellow colour
  7. as required Water
  8. For sugar syrup
  9. 1 cupsugar
  10. 1/4 cupwater
  11. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  12. pinchsaffron strands
  13. as required Oil for frying

  1. 1

    For sugar syrup
    In one pan put sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and water.boil till one thread consistency.

    Remove from fire keep aside.

  3. 3

    In another bowl add all-purpose flour,corn flour, yogurt

  4. 4

    And add vinegar, baking soda and make batter beat lightly for 4-5 mnts.

  5. 5

    The batter should have flowing consistency.

  6. 6

    Take icing bag. Fill it with batter.
    Make hole by cutting the tip of bag

  7. 7

    Heat oil in pan. Now make spiral
    Shape from batter by squeezing the bag.

  8. 8

    Fry on medium heat till golden brown in colour.

  9. 9

    Remove the jalebi and immediately put in warm sugar syrup.

  10. 10

    Dip about in mnt. Remove and keep in plate.

  11. 11

    Serve hot or cold any time.
