First, wash the chicken and place it in a bowl for marinating. Add half the yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Mix well, cover, and set aside.

Wash and finely chop the onions. Sauté half of the onions and set the rest aside. Add 7-8 peeled garlic cloves to the onions while sautéing.

Once cooled, blend the sautéed onions and garlic into a paste. Heat ghee in a large pan, then add the marinated chicken. Sauté until all the water evaporates.

When the chicken is dry, remove it to a plate. Add a little more ghee to the pan, then add the whole garam masala spices and the remaining onions. Sauté for a few minutes, then return the fried chicken to the pan and add the onion-garlic paste. Mix well.

When the chicken is slightly browned, add the remaining yogurt. Once the chicken starts to release oil, add garam masala and water as needed. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

Your chicken korma is now ready. Serve hot with rice or roti. It tastes delicious!
