Usually papri and sev are added in the chaat for the crunch.Here I have used variety of chips and the chaat recipe is also different.I hope,you will like it.

Soak chickpeas overnight.

Next day,boil till tender.

Slice the chillies.

Finely chop the onion,coriander and mint.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in 1/2 onion and fry till translucent.

Add in coriander,mint and green chillies.

Give it a good stir.

Add in tamarind and all the spices.

Give it a good stir and let the tamarind simmer.

Do not dry the tamarind.

Remove it from flame.

Add in onion and chickpeas.

Mix them well.

Throw in both the chips.

Serve straight away.
