Slice onions thinly seprate layers set aside. Heat oil in deep pan fry onions until golden brown remove set aside.

Add yogurt salt turmericpowder red chilli powder biryani masala powder Cardemom powder green chilli ginger garlic paste lemon juice to a mixing bowl in chicken. Marinate for 2 hours to overnight in fridge.

For rice -
Wash and soak rice for 30min. Drain water set aside. Heat 6-7 cups water in pot add 1 tspoon oil whole spices salt boil add rice cook till 75% done. Do not make mushy. - 4
Transfer marinate chicken to heavy bottom pan add oil half fried onions mint leaves green coriander leaves biryani masala cooked ricepowder pour saffron milk all over.

Add ghee cover pot with foil cover with tight and heavy lid. Place this over thick hot tawa cook for 20 min. on lowest flame cook for 15 min.

Garnish with fresh green coriander leaves.
Serve with raita.
