Over Ripe Pear Crumble

When I have some Over Ripe Pears, I usually bake ‘Pear Upside-down Cake’. ‘Rice Cooker Pear Upside-down Cake’ is easier. However, my husband recently stopped eating cakes and I shouldn’t bake cakes. So, I made this ‘Pear Crumble’ today. I used less amount of Butter and Sugar than this recipe, and it still tasted good.

Preheat oven to 180℃.
- 3
To make Crumble, combine all the Crumble ingredients and mix well.

Over Ripe Pear is very soft and you don’t need to cook it. Simply peel, remove core, cut into small pieces, and place into a ramekin OR oven-safe bowl. Drizzle with Maple Syrup (OR other sweetener).
- 5
Cover the Pear pieces with Crumble and back for 15-20 minutes or until nicely browned and Crumble is cooked.
- 6
Enjoy with Cream or Ice Cream.
