Cheese Dosa

#cookpadindia
A classic South Indian Breakfast well known to every Indian. Wherever they are in India, people love this super yummy Breakfast and make it too. It is a much sought after Breakfast option for many. Now a days, there are many variations being introduced. Cheese Dosa is one such Breakfast idea and the Dosas made with this are super crispy and aromatic. They taste great due to the presence of Cheese and is loved by many.
Not only is it aromatic and flavourful, it's absolutely amazing. And this one is made in homemade Ghee. What more could one ask for? Though you can also make them in Oil but I prefer Ghee and Cheese as a combo. Delicious and super easy one for all on any day especially weekends and holidays. Serve it as it is hot and crisp right from the pan to the plate. It tastes just divine. It can be had all on it's own without any accompaniment at all. Children would love it. And so does everyone else too.

Steps
- 1
Soak rice and dal separately for 5-6 hours. Next day give it a light mix and if the batter looks very thick, then add some water. Also stir in some salt as well. Heat a heavy iron griddle or a non-stick dosa pan.
- 2
Pour a ladleful of the batter in the centre and spread it in a clockwise motion. Drizzle ghee on the edges of the dosa and a little on top of it. On a medium flame, cook it until crisp topped with cheese and the other ingredients as mentioned.
- 3
Make all in the same way and store the leftover batter in the refrigerator for later use.
Serve this cheese dosa with coconut chutney or any other of your family's choice. Or even on it's own. It tastes just as awesome. Yum!
