Ingredients

2 people
  • 1 cupmilk your choice dairy, soy or almond milk
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1/2 cupquinoa
  • 2apples, chopped or grated without skin
  • 1/2 tspghee
  • 1/4 teaspoonground cinnamon / cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar / stevia
  • 1 tablespoonalmonds & walnuts soaked & chopped Sprinkle seeds of your choice

Steps

  1. 1

    Rinse quinoa under cold running water.
    Combine with the water in a pot and bring to the boil.
    Reduce the heat - cover and cook for 10 minutes until softer water avoprated

  2. 2

    In another pan heat ghee roast apple for 3-4 min
    Add milk, cooked quinoa cinnamon / cardamom & brown sugar / stevia
    Cook for 5 -7 minutes until creamy - add more milk if needed for a creamier texture.
    Spoon into serving bowls and enjoy.
