Ingredients

3 1/2 hours
4-6 people
  • 2-1 lbSirloin steaks cubed
  • 1small onion
  • 1 boxfresh mushrooms
  • 2bay leaves
  • 1 canFrench onion soup condensed
  • 3 tbsWorcestershire
  • 2 tbssoy sauce
  • 1 tbssugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 cupyour favorite red wine for cooking

    In a mixing bowl combine the cubed steak with the salt, pepper, sugar, Worcestershire and Soy sauce.

  2. 2

    Turn stove to medium high and in a large skillet pour in some olive oil, once heated place the steak, sliced onion, mushrooms and wine and simmer for 20-30 minutes.

    Pre heat oven 350. In a Dutch oven pour in the everything from the skillet and add the French onion soup. Add a package of brown grave to either water or beef stock to cover the meat about 1 to 2 inches. Cook 3 hours

    Remove from oven and put on top of rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
