In July, Jackfruit seed is available in plenty. It is rich in minerals and therefore has high nutritional value. Lunch box having its tikki with bread can feel the stomach easily

Steps

Remove the white skin from the jackfruit seed. Boil with water till whistle blows once. Discard the water and rinse thoroughly.

Make a fine paste of the boiled seeds. Mash boiled potatoes and mix with the jackfruit seed. Add all the spices and make round balls.

In a nonstick pan, brush oil. When it becomes hot, add tikkis on the pan. Cook both sides till it becomes golden brown. Remove it on a plate.

Roast the bread both sides with little oil on the the pan till light brown and crispy. Decorate on a plate or lunch box with chutney or sauce. I have chosen tamarind chutney here.
