Ingredients

30 minutes
4 persons
  1. 2 cupscleaned washed roughly chopped spinach
  2. 1/2 cupwashed fenugreek green leaves
  3. 1/2 cupwashed and chopped coriander leaves
  4. 1 cupfinely chopped onion
  5. 2green chillies
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1level tsp red chilly powder
  8. 1 tspcrushed coriander seeds
  9. 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  10. 1 tbspsesame seeds
  11. 1.5 cupchick peas flour
  12. 1/4 cuprice flour
  13. Salt according to taste
  14. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl take spinach, fenugreek leaves, coriander leaves and chopped onion.

    Add salt and mix nicely with fingers. Keep covered for five minutes.

    Now add green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed coriander seeds, carom seeds. Mix well by hand.

    Add rice flour and chick peas flour little by little. Add little water if required. Mix well with hand. Keep covered for five min.

    Keep oil for frying on stove on medium heat.

  6. 6

    Fry pakodas on medium heat to ensure pakodas are cooked properly. Serve hot pakodas with green chutney or tomato sauce.
