This is an amazing refreshing type of tea famous in Maharashtra state. Basundi means reduced milk. This tea is thicker than regular tea, made with only milk, generally, water is not added. Special tea masala powder is used while preparing.

This is an amazing refreshing type of tea famous in Maharashtra state. Basundi means reduced milk. This tea is thicker than regular tea, made with only milk, generally, water is not added. Special tea masala powder is used while preparing.
Steps

First prepare tea masala powder, for this- take a mortar and pastel

Add 2 green cardamom, 1-inch dry ginger, and 1/4 nutmeg, and make course powder.

Now take a big saucepan, and add milk.

Keep milk for boiling

Add tea powder, tea masala powder, and sugar
- 6
Boil tea for a further 10min, so that it will be thicker

Now turn off the flame

Strain the tea and serve hot with some biscuits
