Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg to get fluffiness in the pancake. Add in the oil

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix well. It's ok to have some lumps, just make sure it is uniform.

If you have time let the batter sit for 5 min to make the pancake more fluffy.

Heat the pan, grease it if it is the oil-free type.
I put a bit of butter and heat the pan up - 6
Take a ladleful of batter and pour in the middle of the pan.
Hint: if the pan is not hot enough the batter will spread fast and your first piece will be bigger than the others. So heat up the pan so that all pieces will be uniform - 7
Repeat, and you should get 6 pieces.
Eat with your favourite topping.
Hint: the pancake tastes very light so you can adjust the sugar depending on the topping / no topping
