Heat ghee fry dry fruits. In the same ghee roast vermicelli on low to medium flame for 5 minutes.

In a large pot heat milk and get to boil stirring occasionally till it gets thickened.

Now add roasted vermicelli and give a good mix. Boil for 5 minutes or til semiyan softens.

Add sugar and mix well.Boil for 5 minutes or till kheer thickens.

Add dry fruits, cardamom powder. mix well.
Serve semiyan kheer chilled or hot.
