Steps

Heat up a pan.Add 1 tbsp of ghee.Toss the makhana in a ghee

Now in a mixer jar,add quarter cup of toasted makhana, cashew nuts, cardamom seeds, saffron and blend it to a fine powder.

To a wide saucepan,pour the milk and heat it.

Roast cashew and raisins in ghee and keep it aside.

Now add the toasted makhana to this and boil it for another 5 mins.

Add ground powder and mix it well.

At last add a pinch of saffron and off the flame

Makhana kheer is ready
