Soak urud and chana with 4c water for 1 hour and then cook them in a pressure cooker. 4 whistles are enough to heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Saute mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Add chilies. Pinch about 3tbsp dough, You can shape the dumpling as per your wish. Grease the top of idli pmoulds and place the dumplings on the mould. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a pressure cooker on high heat. Place inside the idli stand. Cover and steam just as you steam idlies. Turn off the oven after 15 minutes. Let it stay on top of the stove for 10 minutes

Then open the cooker. Let it cool and transfer the dumplings to a serving plate and offer them to Vinayakar. You may serve them with chutney Have a good celebration with family and friends
