This is the merging of a traditional US oven roasted holiday nut mix, and the modernization with an air fryer

Soften the butter

In a large bowl, mix the nuts and the butter until well coated
- 3
Roast the nuts in an air fryer for 9 minutes at 190C.
- caution / note - My air fryer is two level, the ingredients on the top always burn or are over done.
- caution / note - Pecans and walnuts are softer and tend to burn more. - 4
While the nuts are roasting, in the same bowl, mix the rosemary, brown sugar and piri-piri.

When the nuts are roasted, poor them into back into the bowl with the spice mix and mix well.

Soften another TBSP of butter, and add it to the nuts and spice mix.

Serve warm or room temperature.
