In a kadhai dry roast rice rava till you get a little brownish tinge. Keep aside.

Next heat oil. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add urad dal, chana dal.
Put chopped onions, grated ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
Next add washed split moong dal. Mix and saute till onion becomes little brownish. - 3
Next add salt and sambar powder. Mix.
Add hot water. Let it all boil together. - 4
Next add chopped coriander leaves. After. Single boil, add the dry roasted rice rava. Mix.

Cover and cook at the slowest heat till the rice and moong dal are cooked. As it's ready, put ghee and give a nice gentle mix.
