Steps

Firstly soak 1/2 cup rice in water for 2 hours, grind it to a fine paste. Keep aside.

Wash mooli, add in a pressure cooker. Top up with water, place the lid, give 5 whistles on high flame. Lower the flame, cook it for 10 minutes. Turn off the flame, allow it to depressurise naturally. Open the lid, strain it, let it cool down.

Take a mixing bowl, add boiled mooli, haldi powder, dhania powder, red chilli powder & garam masala powder, mix it well.

Now add salt, ginger & garlic paste, mix it well, keep aside.

Take a wok, add oil, heat it. Add methi now, let it splutter.

In goes onion, stir fry it until light brown. Meanwhile add green chilli.

Now add marinated mooli, mix it well. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until a lil dry, stir in between.

Open the lid, increase the flame add dhania patta, stir fry it until dry.

Now add rice paste, mix it nicely.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it for 10 minutes. Stir in between. Open the lid, stir fry it on low flame, until brown.

Turn off the flame, cover it with the lid for a minute. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with a dhania sprig.

A good combo with Roti, Paratha or Rice...
