Steps
- 1
Measure Lentils. I use Sprouted green, brown, black Lentils mix in this recipe.
- 2
Put the lentils in the blender or food processor. Grinding one batch at a time makes handling easier.
- 3
Grind the lentils on high speed until turning into a medium-fine flour (2-3 min). Extend the grind time if you see any larger bits of lentils.
- 4
You can store the Lentil flour in an air-tight container in a cool place for up to 3 months. FYI: 1 cup (250 ml) of the Lentil flour is 200 g.
- 5
Homemade Lentil Flour may be coarser than the kind you buy at the store. Even if your flour ends up having the texture of corn meal, it should still work well in most recipes that call for Lentil Flour.
