Ingredients

8-10 servings
  1. 1 kgRed Carrot
  2. 1.5 kgFull Cream Milk
  3. 200 gmDesi Ghee
  4. 250 gmSugar
  5. 200 gmKhoya
  6. as per requirement Chopped Almonds(optional)
  7. as per requirement Chopped Cashew(optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Grate carrots(Always use thin side of grater for better results)

  2. 2

    Add grated carrot and milk in a pan,mix well and put it on medium flame until all the milk gets absorbed by the carrots.

    Simultaneously,  Roast khoya in another pan until it leaves the oil aside
    Keep stirring your halwa after few minutes.

    Add sugar in it and cook until all the liquid gets absorbed

  5. 5

    Now Add roasted khoya to it and fry for another 10-15 mins.

  6. 6

    Add Desi ghee in last and let it fry until it leaves oil aside or it's consistency became thick.
    Add nuts and mix well.(optional)

    Your Gajar Ka Halwa is ready to Serve.
    Serve hot..
    Enjoy your dessert.

    Tip: If you want to serve it later. Take a pan, Add 1 spoon desi ghee and roast it.
    Serve hot.
