Firstly, in a large kadai take ghee, once the ghee heats up, add besan and suji.

If you are using coarse besan then you can skip the addition of suji.

Roast on low flame for almost 25-30 minutes while stirring continuously until the besan turns golden brown.

Add add milk and stir well. Cook until the mixture seperates the pan.

Add sugar and saffron milk. Mix well until the sugar dissolves completely and seperates the pan.

Add in cashews and cardamom powder and mix well.

Finally, enjoy besan ka halwa garnished with more almonds.
