Three Cheese Baked Mussels
Yumyumyum with Mozzarella, Gouda and Red Cheddar.
Steps

Clean and de-beard mussels. Scrape white spots off the shells with a knife.

Boil water and blanch the mussels

Discard shells that did not open.

Make mussels into half shells. Gently separate meat from the shells with a knife.

Choose the larger shells to use for the bake.

Add to each shell- 1 mussel meat, a small slice of garlic/herb butter, chopped garlic, chopped onions then top with a generous portion of shredded 3-cheese.

Arrange on an oven rack.
Cook in a small oven or even a toaster oven at 180C until cheese melts. - 8
Don’t let it get too brown. Once melted and bubbly that should be good.

Cool shells and enjoy as appetizers.
