Steps
- 1
First of all roast all the peanuts well until the raw smell fades away. They should be roasted well otherwise the laddus will not taste good.
- 2
Next comes the part of removing their skin. Rub them in between your palms and using a large perforated sieve, remove the husk.
- 3
Add these peanuts without their skin into a mixer jar along with the jaggery and cardamom powders. Grind them in turns and not all at once.
- 4
This grinding will help release oil and this is what helps in binding the laddus well. Use the pulse option if available in the mixer.
- 5
Remove this mix onto a plate and shape into laddus of preferable size. Do not forget to add in chopped cashews before shaping into laddus. These can be stored in airtight containers and stays good upto a Month or more if refrigerated.
