Soak tamarind in some water.

Mash them well and discard the seeds.

Cook together chutney ingredients till slightly thickens.

Leave it to cool.

Blend together masala ingredients into a thick,smooth paste.

Mix the blended paste in the chutney.

Mix together boondi ingredients and make a smooth batter of medium consistency by gradually adding water.

Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Heat oil in a wok.

Put spoonfuls of batter and fry boondi till light golden.

Soak boondi in water till tender.

Drain water and keep the boondi in a dish.

Add in chutney and topping ingredients.

Serve straight away.
