Steps

Wash the raw mangoes and peel, cut into slices. Keep it in a bowl of water to avoid marks on the mango. Soak washed Masoor Dal for 10 mins

In a pressure cooker add Dal and water and pressure cook for 1 steam, immediately depressurise and stir. Set aside

In a pan heat oil, add add whole red chilies and green chiiies and stir. Add mustard seeds and stir. Add mangoes and fry covered for 3-5 mins.

Add Dal and add turmeric powder and salt and mix well. Cook for 6 mins.

Take aside little mangoes and mash with dal so that the tart taste is there. Bring it back to Dal. Stir and set aside

Serve with steamed rice and enjoy 😊
