Potatoes Topped With Beef

I had a dish like this at an izakaya (Japanese gastropub) and I thought it looked delicious. (I wanted to eat it but I was already full...) I remembered it and wanted to eat it, so I just made something that looks like what I saw. I just guessed about the flavor.

Step 1: Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise (I also took a small slice off the bottom so that the pieces would sit straight on the plate.)
The potatoes are cooked with their skins on. For 6 pieces. Recipe by annnnn
