Cream butter with caster sugar until pale and fluffy

Beat in eggs. Then fold in self raising flour and milk to make mixture with a soft dropping consistency

Put jam /syrup / sauce into bottom of greased bowl. Then spoon in mixture.

Place in microwave on low rack bake for 30 mins on 180c and 10% microwave until a skewer comes out clean.

Allow to cool slightly until turning out onto a warm serving plate.
