Tonight I'm sharing a spectacular and delicious dinner—just two simple cans of sardines and two slices of rustic country bread.

Spread tomato sauce on both slices of bread.

Cut both slices of bread into strips about the same size as the sardines.

Arrange the bread strips on a large plate and place the sardines on top of the bread, removing the bones.

Drizzle with the oil and sauce left from both cans to keep the sardines nice and juicy.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
