  3. Garlic crushed
  4. Whole dried black lemon
  5. sticksCinnamon
  6. leavesBay
  7. Cardamom
  8. Cloves
  9. piecesChicken cut into large
  10. piecesTomato small
  11. piecesGreen, red & yellow pepper cut into small
  12. Black lemon powder
  13. Cumin
  14. Dried parsley
  15. Salt
  16. Tomato paste
  17. Hot water
  18. Rice

Steps

  1. 1

    Add oil to a pot

  2. 2

    Fry the onion & garlic

  3. 3

    Add whole black lemon

  4. 4

    Add cinnamon, bay leaves, cardamom & cloves

  5. 5

    Add the chicken

  6. 6

    Add tomatoes,peppers, black lemon, cumin, parsley, salt, tomato paste. Keep until chicken is cooked

  7. 7

    Add hot water which should be 1.5 X quantity of rice

  8. 8

    Add rice and leave the water is dried and rice is cooked

I don’t rely on precise quantity for each ingredient and therefore I make my own best guess . This is why I don’t specify quantities in my recipes and hope that you like them .
