Pound the red chili and dried shrimps roughly in a mortar, set aside.

In a wok, add 3 tbsp oil, when it's hot enough, add garlic cook until fragrant. Remove the garlic from the oil set aside. Leave the oil in the wok.

Add chili and dried shrimps into the wok, cook for about 1 min.

Add okra in and stir fry until the softness you like.

Sprinkle salt to taste and garlic back to the wok. Serve.
