Quinoa flour is used in baking pizza base, muffins ,breads & cakes . The flour is generally used with other flours like ragi , wheat flour or sooji . It has a very high amount of protein so Diebetic friendly. It also helps in lowering blood pressure & helps in weight loss also.
As the flour is very expensive , people buy its seeds in bulk & dry roast , than grind to fine flour which is stored in airtight containers.
This is a healthy snack to give in tiffin & enjoy with tea / coffee.

How to make quinoa flour ?
Dry roast quinoa seeds on slow flame till aroma comes. Cool completely & grind to fine powder. - 2
Now take quinoa flour, wheat flour, add chilli flakes, black pepper powder, salt & oil. Mix very well.

Add water slowly & make a semi-soft dough. Cover & rest the dough for minimum 15 minutes.

Now knead the dough very well. Divide the dough into 3 portions. Roll big size chapati with 1 portion. The chapati should be a little thick.Divide it into 2 & cut thick strips as shown in the picture. Prick all the strips.

Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry these strips on low flame till crisp. Drain on kitchen towel /paper. Cool completely & store in an airtight container. Make all strips like this.

Note : These strips stay good for 15 days, if it lasts, ofcourse 😆😆😆 so enjoy.........
