This was delicious when I ate it at a Taiwanese restaurant, so I reproduced it using Soy Sauce Ramen Noodles. Even though the noodles are instant, it is really delicious. I forgot to add bean sprouts, but it tasted great even without.

Taiwan-style ramen are made with ground pork, Chinese chives, Japanese leeks, been sprouts etc., stir fried in red chili pepper, in a soy sauce based soup. It also calls for a lot of garlic. For 1 serving. Recipe by Yumipii

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 packagesSoy Sauce Ramen Noodles
  2. 100 gramsGround pork
  3. 1/2 bunchChinese garlic chives
  4. 1/4Japanese leek
  5. 1/2 packagesBean sprouts (if available)
  6. 1 cloveGarlic
  7. 1Red chili pepper cut into small pieces
  8. 1 tbspSesame oil
  9. 1 dashSalt
  10. 1 dashPepper
  11. 500 mlWater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Heat oil, garlic, finely chopped Japanese leeks, and finely chopped red pepper in a frying pan, sautéing over low heat until aromatic.

  2. 2

Sauté the ground pork. Crumble the pork to your liking. I personally prefer large chunks since it is easier to eat.

  3. 3

Sauté the Chinese chives cut into about 5 cm with the bean sprouts, and season with salt and pepper. (I forgot to add bean sprouts in the photo.)

  4. 4

Add the water and bring to a boil.

  5. 5

After it comes to a boil, add noodles and boil for 3 minutes while loosening the noodles.

  6. 6

Place the soup base in the serving bowl first.

  7. 7

After boiling the noodles, transfer to a serving bowl, stir well, and enjoy.

  8. 8

    Done!
