I wanted to use light-flavoured cod for an easy microwaved dish.Do not pour on the tomatoes. Spread underneath to create a better looking dish! The tomato sauce will absorb the flavour of the cod and bacon. The melting cheese is very tasty with the tomato sauce, cod and bacon. This is a quick dish, so it is handy for unplanned dinner parties. Great with wine. Recipe by Sutekinigohanchan cookpad.japan -

This came out very nicely by accident, so I wrote down what I did to remember it.I cut the vegetables finely so they'd mix well with the pasta. You can use other vegetables besides sweet onion and spring cabbage. You don't need to break the pasta in half.If you use a pressure cooker, you can make this quickly and successfully. Chicken and Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce Chicken and Cabbage Simmered in Tomato Sauce
I had a lot of cabbage that I'd bought or gotten from people to use up so I came up with this recipe. Since then it's become a family favorite.Because you dust the chicken with flour before browning and then simmering it the umami is held inside and the meat won't fall apart. By sprinkling it with some sake for cooking, the gaminess of the chicken is gone and it becomes very tender. Adjust the amount of salt and water depending on how much cabbage you use. I use about 1/2 a tomato can of water. Recipe by Makichimu cookpad.japan -
Cabbage Rolls Simmered in Tomato Sauce Cabbage Rolls Simmered in Tomato Sauce
I thought of this while making a recipe using ketchup. My family always uses ketchup for rolled cabbages; ketchup goes really well with rolled cabbage! I was confident about this, so I tried using ketchup inside as well as outside.Make sure not to rip the cabbage leaves when tearing them from the cabbage head. You can still wrap them up if you tear one by stacking up 2 leaves. The meat that you stuff inside might feel loose, but you roll it up in cabbage, so it's alright! The cabbage rolls remain juicy even the next day .
