Steps

Bring a saucepan of water to the the boil (without any eggs in it) then reduce it to a simmer before carefully putting the eggs in.

Let the eggs cook at around medium heat for about 5-6 minutes if you want a runny egg but about 6-7 minutes if you want it firmer.

Meanwhile toast some bread to dip into the egg.

Scoop the eggs out of the water, crack the tops off with a knife and enjoy👍

TOP TIP; if your egg is too runny and you have already cracked the top off lower it back into the saucepan in the egg cup/holder
