Peel wash and cut tinda in big pieces.

Chop onion finely.
Heat oil in pan add chopped onion and cook till brown in color - 3
Add chopped tomatoes,red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder salt mix cook till tomatoes get soft.

Now add tinda pieces mix add 1/2 cup water cover and cook till tinda are soft.

Remove tinda pieces from gravy.

In gravy add 2-3 cup water. add little salt and pepper.let it boil add washed and soaked rice mix cook till rice are done.

Now add tinda pieces in rice mix lightly and serve with dahi and papad.
