Vegetable Stock

Vegetable Stock can be made at home and used to prepare soup/broth, in the making of base for gravy curry, soupy noodles and even in non-vegetable recipes. The vegetable stock is healthy, nutritious and delicious too. It can be stored in the refrigerator/ deep fridge to use for a long time.

Steps

Arrange and assemble the ingredients.

Heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil in a pan. Add all the spices as mentioned above. Saute on low flame till aromatic.

Add chopped onion and crushed garlic. Saute on flame till done.

Now mix chopped carrot, celery leaves and stalks and chopped tomatoes and saute for two minutes.

Add 4 cups of water, and allow to simmer on heat for 30 to 45 minutes.

Allow to cool down, strain and store in a glass jar for further use. Thanks.
