Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the egg to make kinshi tamago (thinly sliced omelet). Boil the broccoli in salted water or microwave it until cooked.
- 2
Divide the sushi rice into three equal parts to make three colors of sushi rice. Pink: mix with sakura denbu. Green: mix with aonori. White: leave as is.
- 3
Cut a milk carton to a length of 2 1/3 inches (6 cm), draw lines at 3/4 inch (2 cm) intervals with a marker, and make small cuts with scissors (to mark where to pack the sushi rice).
- 4
Cut open one side of the carton vertically and tape it back together, being careful not to fold the tape inside (this makes it easier to remove the sushi rice later).
- 5
Place the milk carton on plastic wrap. Pack the green sushi rice to the first cut line, then the white sushi rice to the next cut line, and finally the pink sushi rice to the top of the carton.
- 6
Cut the smoked salmon into small pieces and layer them to form a flower as shown in the picture.
- 7
Place the sushi from step 5 on a plate, open the milk carton, and top with the salmon flower, broccoli, kinshi tamago, and salmon roe. Enjoy!

For Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival): Perfectly Round Temari Sushi #1 For Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival): Perfectly Round Temari Sushi #1
I have a cake pop mold that makes ball-shaped cakes, so I wanted to use it to make some temari sushi (ball-shaped sushi) that are all the same size. The prince and princess shaped sushi balls are special because of their garments, but for the others, I simply spread out the sushi filling in the bottom of the mold, packed in the ingredients, and made them into ball shapes.Make sure to wet the lid of the mold. You can also spread out plastic wrap in the mold beforehand, put the sushi in, cover with more plastic wrap, and then cover it with the lid. This eliminates the need to moisten the mold and makes the rice easy to remove. When packing the sushi rice into the mold, press it lightly into balls with your hands beforehand. This way the temari sushi will have a nice round shape. Recipe by NordicWare cookpad.japan -

Hinamatsuri (Japanese Girls’ Day) Hina Doll Sushi Hinamatsuri (Japanese Girls’ Day) Hina Doll Sushi
This is the Hina Doll (Girls Day Doll) Sushi that has been passed down from generation to generation in my family.I made the inside of the sushi doll with Salmon Chirashi ("scattered" sushi) this time, but it can be any chirashi sushi you'd like.It will make the kimono look cute if you insert a slice of ham or cheese underneath the thin omelet then wrap them around the Empress's body. The angle of the black sesame seeds changes the expression of the dolls drastically!!Perhaps some ketchup can be used for the cheeks and mouth! Decorated Chirashi Sushi Decorated Chirashi Sushi
Ordinary chirashi sushi is boring, so I made it into a cake shape the kids would love.If you mix chirashi sushi seasoning into all of the rice, it gets monotonous, so I flavored half the rice simply with sushi vinegar. This "cake" is very easy to eat.I used a spring-form cake mold with a non-stick coating. If your mold is made out of a material that rice sticks to easily, line with plastic wrap first.I think it's fun to change the toppings to fit the season. For one 18 cm [7.1 in] mold. Recipe by Kikka mama cookpad.japan -

I may be a guy, but I have a little sister, so during the Girls' Festival I was able to eat this festival sushi! When making sushi rice, mix quickly then cool with a fan to make it shiny! Don't fan while you mix (that makes it sticky). Also, mix in the ingredients before it cools! (If you do it after it cools, it won't stick together). For 6 servings. Recipe by Satorun cookpad.japan
