Ingredients

  1. 1 cupyellow lentils
  2. 1medium onion
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 2carrots
  5. 1potato
  6. 2 clovesgarlic
  7. 1 tablespooncumin (lentils love cumin!) 😀
  8. 1 teaspoonchili powder, to taste
  9. 1 teaspoonsalt
  10. 2 tablespoonsbutter
  11. 1onion, finely chopped
  12. 1chicken or beef bouillon cube

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the lentils well and drain them.

    Chop the onion, potato, tomatoes, carrots, and garlic, and add them to the lentils.

    Cover them with water and add the butter, salt, cumin, chili powder, and don't forget the bouillon cube.

    Cook the mixture on high heat until all the ingredients are cooked. It doesn't have to be dry; adjust the consistency to your liking.

    Let it cool, then blend it in a blender.
