Smoothie Bowls have been really popular breakfasts lately and they're exactly what you'd expect - a smoothie, thick, served in a bowl and topped with fruit, almost like a yogurt really

Put the oats in a bowl, cover with boiling water and let stand 5 minutes

Rinse and drain over a sieve and let cool

Throw into a blender with the blueberries (reserve a handful for garnish), strawberries, banana, coconut milk, syrup / honey and vanilla

Puree smooth

Pour into serving bowls and top with the reserved blueberries and sliced strawberries. Add some toasted, flaked almonds if you can tolerate nuts
