Now you can buy garlic in bulk without worry. Make a big batch of paste and freeze it for long-term storage.
The story behind this recipe

Ingredients

  1. As much garlic as you have
  2. 1 pinchsalt (depending on the amount of garlic)
  3. About 2 tablespoons of salad oil (use your preferred oil)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Microwave the garlic for 5-10 seconds like this. Keep the garlic raw, but microwave it until it gets warm.

  2. 2

Once microwaved a bit, the garlic peels easily.

  3. 3

After peeling, process the garlic, salt (to taste), and salad oil (to taste) in a food processor.

  4. 4

If you stop here, it will be minced.
You can store it in this state if you prefer.

  5. 5

Process a bit more in the food processor to make it into a paste.

  6. 6

Then, flatten it in a Ziploc bag, store the portion you will use soon in the refrigerator, and the rest in the freezer.

  7. 7

If it's about 1/8 inch thick, you can break off pieces easily by hand from the freezer.

  8. 8

    # You can use olive oil or grapeseed oil, or any oil you like. However, a neutral oil is more versatile for any dish.
