Cooking Instructions

Cut the string beans into half length. Cut the carrot into 5cm x 1cm rectangles, so that they will be the same size as the string beans. Cut the cheese into the same size, if needed.

Boil or microwave carrot and string beans, until they are tender enough to eat.

Spread out two-slices of pork, and line up neatly to make the two into one wrap. Lay the carrot, the string beans, and the cheese on, roll them up.

Heat a pan (medium heat), add oil, cook the rolls seam side down. Salt and pepper lightly, if you like. When the side is browned, roll them around to brown all over.

Add the mixture of soy sauce, sake, and mirin. Roll the rolls around in the sauce until they're glossy.

Cut the rolls into 2~3 pieces, and serve.
